2011 Review
The 2011 Trevor Wingrove Memorial Tournament was held at the newly renovated Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex. In all 24 teams and over 300 girls and boys competed to secure their team’s place in history to win the inaugural Trevor Wingrove Memorial Tournament. The legendary Dogwood Invitational Tournament was renamed in honour of one of Coquitlam’s most respected lacrosse players who died of cancer in July, 2010.
Teams from Vancouver’s Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island were well represented in the medal rounds with the host Coquitlam placing in all three divisions.
The Most Valuable Player Awards in the medal rounds were sponsored by Maverik Lacrosse.
Coquitlam Minor Lacrosse and the tournament organizers would like to thank all of the participants, our volunteers, and our sponsors. See you in 2012!
